This is a recipe my mother made for us as kids. I found the recipe in her recipe box and remembered this delicious treat. They are incredibly easy to make and not so easy to stop eating.
Makes about 20 clusters
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 1/2 cups La Choy Chow Mein Noodles
1/2 cup peanuts or cashews (optional)
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in noodles and nuts so they are evenly coated.
Dip out by teaspoonfuls onto parchment paper, chill and refrigerate.
