Amazing Brownies

This brownie recipe is out of my mother's recipe box. It came from one of her good friends in their bridge group, Joyce Wallace. Recipe photo below.
I remember eating these brownies as a teenager - good thing I was an active teenager - these brownies are so hard to resist! They make a great dessert for a crowd.
Amazing Brownies
Ingredients
For Brownies
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 package miniature marshmallows
For Icing
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Brownies
Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a 13 x 9 pan.
In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and butter.
Beat in the sugar and eggs.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture.
Spread into the prepared pan and bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
Spread the marshmallows over the hot brownies. In the oven, let the marshmallows melt enough to stick to the brownies.
Icing
In a sauce pan, melt the chocolate and butter together.
Add the evaporated milk and stir to combine.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla.
Beat until smooth and pour over the marshmallow covered brownies.
