Strawberry Pie

This is a really simple and super delicious strawberry pie.

Strawberry Pie


  • 1 9" pie shell baked

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, divided, 2 cups crushed, 2 cups halved

  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice


  1. In a saucepan crush 2 cups strawberries, cornstarch and sugar.

  2. Cook stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil for about 2 minutes.

  3. Cool slightly and fold in lemon juice and halved strawberries.

  4. Pour into crust. Chill.

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whip cream or both!
