Butterscotch Cookies

Place the oven racks in the upper middle and lower middle positions.

Preheat the oven to 350

Ingredients

1. 2 cups all-purpose flour

2. 1/2 tsp salt

3. 1/2 ground cinnamon

4. 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

5. 3/4 cup granulated sugar

6. 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

7. 2 large eggs

8. 1 tsp vanilla extract

9. 3 cups quick or old fashioned oats

10. One 11-oz pkg Nestle Butterscotch morsels

Directions

1. Prepare cookies on 2 cookie sheets by dropping cookie dough on to ungreased cookie sheets about the size of a ping pong ball.

2. Place the cookie sheets on the top middle and lower middle racks of the oven.

3. Bake for 6-7 minutes then rotate and switch cookie sheets and bake for another 6-7 minutes.

4. Let the cookies rest on the cookie sheets for a couple of minutes, then move the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
