The Butterscotch Cookie
“My favorite and most requested cookie recipe. If you love butterscotch, this is the cookie for you!”
Butterscotch Cookies
Place the oven racks in the upper middle and lower middle positions.
Preheat the oven to 350
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 ground cinnamon
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups quick or old fashioned oats
One 11-oz pkg Nestle Butterscotch morsels
Directions
Prepare cookies on 2 cookie sheets by dropping cookie dough on to ungreased cookie sheets about the size of a ping pong ball.
Place the cookie sheets on the top middle and lower middle racks of the oven.
Bake for 6-7 minutes then rotate and switch cookie sheets and bake for another 6-7 minutes.
Let the cookies rest on the cookie sheets for a couple of minutes, then move the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
